Not just for a lazy day in the sun..as DMG Media describes
The British Airways i360, or the “donut on a stick” as locals call it, opened five years ago to offer bird’s eye views across the South Downs and English Channel (see video below)
Now, for the first time passengers can take the usual 138 metre ride in the viewing pod, before stepping into the tower itself and climbing a further 30-metres to an open-air platform.
Called the i360 Tower Top Climb, up to six guests can get together to climb the maintenance ladders within the tower, accompanied by two expert BA i360 technicians who will explain how the attraction operates, and take plenty of photos of the day.
