To me, CeBIT in Hannover, now in its 27th year, has always been CES, Las Vegas meets Oracle Open World, San Francisco meets Detriot Auto Show meets Mobile World Congress in Barcelona – in size, and diversity of consumer and enterprise tech. And much more international with exhibitors from over 70 countries and a different partner country showcased each year - Brazil last year, Poland this year.
This year’s event which goes from March 5 to 9 has 4 “platfoms” (see below) and the numbers should do even better than last year – 7 million contacts picked up by 4,000 exhibitors.
And of course, make the 2 hour high speed ICE train from Frankfurt’s airport Germany’s “nerd bird” for the week.
