Who will maintain our tech-heavy automobiles?

You notice of course how much more this generation of cars depends on software, sensors and satellites than did the previous generation? The next-gen should have even more battery, navigation, radar and other technology. Ever wonder how our auto mechanics evolve with this growing wave of technology?

For 28 years, AAA and Ford have sponsored an Auto Skills competition. Each year, over 12,500 take a written exam, then compete to fix cars that have been “bugged” with identical problems in the fastest time. The winners in each state advance to the finals, held this year in Dearborn, MI.
