More in a series on how our summers have evolved.
Ray Wang had several of our Enterprise Irregulars colleagues over for a BBQ at his house in California yesterday. I could not make it but many others did with their kids. In addition to the potluck desserts they brought, the menu was long and exotic including:
- Sesame Peanut Noodles
- Garlic infused cucumbers
- Strawberry Hoisin Fusion Baby Back Ribs
- Teriyaki drumsticks
- Chicken apple sausage for the kiddies
While I am sure there was plenty of technology talk and Ray’s own DJ gear, there’s 10 interesting tech items Time says makes summer parties even more fun:
- The Bosco – a photo booth
- Zokos - a Kickstarter to help the host out
- Big Jambox – to get your neighbors jealous
- Opena – a bottle opener for your iPhone
- iPhone Shutter Remote – so you don’t need a designated photo taker
- Mixology – an app with 7990 recipes
- Spotify –for collaborative playlists with your guests
- Soulo – turns your iPad into a koraoke machine
- iGrill – monitor your meat with bluetooth on your iPhone
- Brew Cave – a walk-in beer cooler fit for a Trappist Monastery!
