It was my first trip to a HP Discover event as a blogger and the event logistics, hospitality, content and networking were excellent.
Some things that really stood out for me at the event held at the Venetian in Las Vegas:
The Main Stage
The podium which allowed speakers to present to 15,000 attendees
After Jeffrey Katzenberg of Dreamworks presented, the back of the main stage literally came down (actually raised up) and this is what the audience saw.
The real Wizard – hidden far from the curtain
The hardware to manage the stage theatrics
The Blogger lounge
Very nice area with 3 recording studios, "coffee talk" rooms and plenty of sitting space and coffee
The HP Labs show area
Social Media, Earth Wind & Fire in 3D, forensics technology and lot more. Here's April Mitchell of Labs with Compass, a tool for employees to share, discover and socialize
Great showcase of a HP product
Just-in-time printing of posters after the sneak preview of Madagascar 3
High Touch
countless HP Social Media and Ivy Worldwide reps to help bloggers. Nicely done!!

Vinnie. This post is very cool. And thanks so much for joining us at HP Discover Vegas 2012. It was a pleasure to meet you. I also liked the 3D display by HP Labs. Here's a video you might enjoy.
