…New York's home but it ain't mine no more
Of course, Neil does not write for Electronic House which named a Hollywood Hills home and Manhattan penthouse as its Homes of the Year for 2009
It writes about the house:
“We’re familiar with some of the A-list technologies here—CinemaScope theater, 7.1-channel surround-sound, intricate TV concealment, extensive automation—but we don’t often see them shine together in such a spectacular location, with equally stunning results. This home can’t settle for anything less than red-carpet treatment.”
and about the loft:
“This Manhattan loft has a bit of everything in its 5,600 square feet. There’s a minimalist aesthetic, but paired with lots of high-tech goodies. There’s some good-old analog audio—with vinyl records, no less—combined with the latest in digital streaming. There are hundred-year-old walls and energy-efficient lighting and shading. And to top it off, there’s an 1,800-square-foot roof deck and spa a few steps above.”
