Awesome project for any boys bedroom.

Wood Working Projects

Technology in woodworking is a great thing in many ways, the new Craftsman detailer is incedible and recommended to anyone. Great web site, keep up the good work

Woodworking Plans

I too prefer to use hand tools, but thank goodness for modern technology and cordless tools!

I am an avid wood working but have not had much time to spend in my shop with out two little ones at home. My little girl just made her first project request a few days ago, a doll house. After seeing this article I am inspired to get out into my shop and start working on Christmas gifts. My little guy would love a bed like that, great idea!

teds woodworking

Hi there,

My friend wants to get into building furniture/woodworking and I thought I'd buy him a book about them for Christmas, but there is so many books to sift through. I don't want a book from the 70's or 80's; I want something that has modern pieces and a modern take about them, and definitely geared towards a beginner. Anyone know of any that they can recommend?

Thank you!

I also usually go with hand tools. Luckily we live in the age of technology
