Other than the fast-paced plot and great tour of Rome, several angles I enjoyed in the movie:
- The tension between religion – like all the nuances around conclave and other traditions in the papal succession process - and modern science as in particle physics and the massive detectors at the Hadron collider
- How Ron Howard, the director created replicas of the Sistine Chapel and other Vatican scenes
- The intrigue Dan Brown brings out in most of his books with cryptography, symbolism and “secrets of state”. He says “I am constantly amazed how much "secret" information is readily available out there if one knows where to dig”.
Hmmm…cannot wait for the Langdon search engine to be released:)
