I was thinking, though, for many of us in the last few years technology has become a passion unto its own. Yes, it is part of their day job, but how else to describe the zeal with which Dennis or Zoli or Jeff tinker with so many Web 2.0 tools and mash them to come up with even more exotic potions. Or Scoble and Om playing with phones and gadgets of all kinds.
Me, I am partial to devices which combine Bluetooth and GPS capabilities. I find poetry in a device equally comfortable communicating with satellites so far away, and also with paired partners just a few feet away.
In the time I spent in the UK, I was convinced the Brits had the most eccentric hobbies and pastimes. Now, I am convinced my fellow bloggers and I have grabbed that honor...
