A farmer near me runs an almost people-less dairy operation.

Cows have RFID tags, when they need milking they wander into a chute with some food at the end, the RFID chip tells the system if the cow is ready to be milked (no cheating and going twice!)

If the animal is due for milking - automated machines do it.

People only required if there is a problem!
