This weekend I took my son to see Mystery of the Nile on a giant screen. And it reminded me how stunning IMAX movies are, and how one single company - MacGillivray Freeman - has done more than others has used technology and guts to bring the world's beauty and history to our viewing and hearing pleasure. Here is a full listing of their work.
My favorite IMAX - every chance I get to go to NASA Kennedy Space Center I watch it, is the 1985 classic The Dream is Alive. That was not a MacGillivary production, but he has since more than made up with his body of work.
