Most of my readers could not fathom life without the web, cell phones, GPS etc. But we have to respect a generation of what USA Today describes as "tech-no" individuals.
New Scientist also has an article of Freebirthing - a concept where mothers have children at home, without any medical help - not even midwives.
I guess they have a point - life did go on 100 years ago without iPods and modern drugs.
My wife had both our kids with a midwife at home. I was more nervous than she was - if she had not had midwives either, I would have needed the medical attention.
