As I wrote on the Deal Architect blog, my 10 day European trip was a tour through the diversity that is mobile broadband there. Remarkably, the best service came near the end of the trip at a humble little eatery at the edge of the Continent in the small town of Longford, Ireland (disclosure - my wife was born here).
John Gill, manager of the Herterich Food Hall, not only serves a nice cappuccino and a diverse breakfast and lunch menu, but is a very gracious and knowledgeable host. He is well traveled and we talked a wide range of topics from the local economy to the food business. And he provides free wi-fi through Crossan CableComm which turned out to be the best across our trip across Germany, France and Ireland.
A close second was at my wife’s niece’s at university in Galway.
Proverbial find as we finish our trip on St. Patrick’s Day!
