Boston is a lovely city but to me brings lots of negative memories all tied to traffic. Have missed flights at Logan, been stuck behind Presidential motorcades, got lost on way to the Mass Turnpike heading West, struggled to find parking in the congested downtown, had an accident where I was sideswiped and the rental car had to be towed . You name a traffic related issue, I have hit it in Boston.
So, this evening at the Hyatt Harborside (I am here for the Inside HCL event), I am rubbing my eyes. My room overlooks one of the runways at Logan. The shuttle bus from airport took 5 minutes.
Even better there is a ferry and train service right from the hotel to downtown Boston. No road traffic to fight – should be nice as I try to get there tomorrow afternoon.
Coming out of my flight I was greeted by cheerful Microsofties showing off the Surface and Windows 8 machines.
