It catalogs the histories and rivalries of JP Morgan, John D, Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie, Henry Ford - ruthless titans who made the US with previous generation technologies - railroads, steel, electricity, automobiles. There are cameos for inventors like Edison, Tesla etc.  

In a nice touch, there is color commentary from modern day businessmen who define the US this century – Jack Welch, Donald Trump, Mark Cuban, Steve Wozniak and others.
