A day and half into Salesforce’s event in San Francisco I am swimming in a maelstrom of memories.
Here are some of my favorite:
The center stage, literally in the middle of the audience, gives wide open, accessible vibe to the speakers. Of course, Marc Benioff often moved into the aisles to mingle with the audience. Even more open.
The view of the Embarcadero and the bridge from the penthouse suite at Hotel Vitale where Get Satisfaction had a reception.
The Haas atrium at the SF MOMA where Appirio and Workday had an evening with Cirque du Soleil performers and spectacular lighting
The Vitrine Room at the SF St. Regis where Salesforce.com had a reception for a few of us (photo Credit Dion Hinchcliffe)
The blooming tea at Fang’s where I shared a cup of hot and sour with my friend Brian Sommer
The Yerba Buena Campus which Salesforce has allowed us to enjoy in the gorgeous sunny weather and where I recorded a video with Dennis Howlett
The Marriott Marquis Bin 55 which did not have an inch of empty space when I met Mei Li of NetSuite
